A yellow example of the McLaren P1 is currently being offered for sale in the United States as its owner is looking forward of buying a full carbon P1.

Buying your dream car may be disappointing in some cases, as this proud owner of a McLaren P1 has recently found out. After ordering his brand new ride in a Volcano Yellow shade, the guy changed his mind and wanted a full carbon P1. The result is obvious, the British hybrid supercar is currently offered for sale after traveling for just 325 miles. It has Giovanna GFG Forged FM-562 alloy wheels and a custom Alcantara interior. Hopefully the new P1 will be enough to satisfy its owner.

McLaren has officially presented the P1 during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere, in its final production form, along one of its main rivals, the Ferrari LaFerrari. The Porsche 918 Spyder has been introduced 6 months later in Frankfurt. The P1 has a 3.8L twin turbo V8 engine under its hood, which is backed up by an electric motor. The total output stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque, enough to allow it a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
