This particular example of the McLaren P1 has had some work made to it and despite not getting any dramatic changes, it still looks better than the standard one.
Working on an extremely rare hypercar is trickier than you may think because chances are you will ruin it, so whenever a modified unit which looks even better than the original hit the web, we simply have to share it with you. This McLaren P1 has received a set of PUR wheels, matte anthracite 4OUR.M2, 20×9.5 and 21×12-inch, front to rear. The have a 5-double spoke design and they are covering the red brake calipers.
Just like we said above, changes are small but they are giving the hypercar a fresh new look. Under its hood, the same 3.8 liter twin turbo engine is found, just like the rest of the McLaren lineup. In the P1, the internal combustion unit is rated at 727 HP and 719 Nm of torque and it is backed up by an electric motor, generating 176 HP and 260 Nm of torque. The total output sent to the rear wheels, through the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, is 903 HP and 978 Nm. Thanks to this configuration, the hybrid vehicle needs just 2.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and it can go up to a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
