A Lime Green finished McLaren P1 has been recently spotted while cruising the streets in China and attracting a lot of attention.
When speaking about the lime green color, the first thing that pops in my mind is a vacation, cocktails, weird shirts and so on, but when you put the words “lime green” and “hybrid supercar” together, it doesn’t really make any sense, but as we can’t decide for the owner himself, all we can do is show you the images posted below, which are revealing the Lime Green McLaren P1, somewhere in China. One thing is for sure, the vehicle is definitely attracting a lot of curious eyes.
The McLaren P1 has been officially introduced, in its final production form, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The model is a hybrid supercar rivaling the Ferrari LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder. Power is coming from a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 petrol burner, rated at 727 HP and 719 Nm of torque, backed up by an electric motor, with 176 HP and 260 Nm of torque, developed in-house. The total output produced stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque, enough to allow it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8s and to reach a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
