The third customer ordered McLaren P1 is rolling off the assembly line and it’s finished in an awesome Genesis Blue paint.
McLaren has already rolled off the production line the first units of the P1 hybrid supercar and the model pictured below is actually the third one to come off the Woking, Surrey, assembly line. The vehicle is finished in a Genesis Blue paintjob. This is the first time when we get to see this shade on the P1, as the company has only revealed it in orange, silver, yellow, dark purple and dark green.
Power is being provided by a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, the same one from the MP4-12C and 12C Spyder, producing 727 HP and 719 Nm of torque, being “helped” by an electric motor, which is generating an extra 176 HP and 260 Nm of torque. The total output stands at 903 HP and 900 Nm of torque, being sent to the rear-wheel drive through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
The McLaren P1 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 6.8 seconds. From 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) the supercar can accelerate in 16.5 seconds. Top speed has been electronically limited to 349 km/h (217 mph). Prices for the model have been set at 1,030,000 EUR and only 375 units will be produced.
