A few paten images showing the all-new McLaren P1 supercar ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September have just surfaced online.
After it was revealed just a few days before writing this article, the all-new McLaren P1, which will be the official successor of the iconic F1 supercar, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by the guys at automobile-magazine.fr, who have published a series of patent images with the model. The McLaren P1 will be placed above the MP4-12C and the 12C Roadster in terms of both performance and price and the supercar is expected to go into production sometimes next year.
Additional details on the British supercar are limited for the moment but initial rumors were saying that the P1 will be powered by the same engine from the MP4-12C and from the 12C Spyder, the 3.8 liter V8 Turbo, which, thanks to some tweaks, will provide an extra 120 HP. No more details on the McLaren P12 are known for the moment so we will have to wait for the 2012 Paris Motor Show in order to find out more about the upcoming British supercar.
