The first rendering with the McLaren P1 imagined as a Dubai police car has recently hit the web and it might offer us a preview of what the hybrid supercar may look like when fighting crime in the UAE.
Working as a policeman in Dubai may turn out to be one of the best jobs if you are a petrol head, considering the fact that the police department has a Bugatti Veyron, a Lamborghini Aventador, an Aston Martin One-77, a Ferrari FF, a modified Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and others. A new supercar might make its way into Dubai, to be used as a police vehicle, the McLaren P1, in this case.
Keep in mind that the image posted above is a simple rendering and that the McLaren P1 may not be the car of choice here, but one of its main rivals, the Ferrari LaFerrari or the Porsche 918 Spyder. As a small reminder, the McLaren P1 is a hybrid supercar which is coming with a 3.8 liter petrol engine and an electric motor. The total output produced is 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 2.8 seconds in the P1 and top speed has been electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).
