A McLaren P1 replica has been recently spotted in the metal and we must admit that this is looking more than amazing.
Usually when talking about replicas we are used to seeing men working in their home garages on their dream rides which they can’t afford, but in this case, the vehicle in question is actually made by McLaren themselves. Yes, you heard well, McLaren has created a replica of their very own P1 which was used for Forza Motorsports to promote it at some events. The car company didn’t release any performance details on this P1 replica and we actually don’t know either if this is functional.
The real McLaren P1 is being made in just 375 units and all of them have been sold out already. The model is being offered in a two-door coupe body style with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is coming from the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 petrol burner, which is backed up by an electric motor. The assembly is producing a total of 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque, which are being sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The P1 is rivaling the Ferrari LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder.
