The British based automaker McLaren has released the first teaser image for its most powerful model ever, the track-only P1 hybrid supercar.
The development of the track-only McLaren P1 is no longer a surprise anymore because the company has already confirmed it for production a few weeks ago but it seems that the vehicle is closer to the assembly line than originally believed considering the fact that the car manufacturer has released the first teaser image with it. The photo in question is actually a drawing of a lower and more aggressive looking P1 which will basically become one expensive track-only toy.
The vehicle in question will be much more powerful than the standard P1, which is coming “only” with 916 HP (674 kW) and rumors are saying that it will be getting up to 1,000 HP (736 kW). This, compared to the lowered weight which will be obtained by shedding off some of the comfort features will translate into a whopping performance which will make owners of the 599 Evo XX jealous. The track-only version of the McLaren P1 is expected to be unveiled towards the end of this year and the model will probably make its public debut during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October.
