McLaren P1 will cost 1.2M USD image

The McLaren P1 supercar will be priced at 1.2 million USD once it will hit the market and the model’s production will be limited to just 500 units.

The official competitor for the upcoming Ferrari F150 (Enzo successor) and the Bugatti Veyron challenger in terms of top speed, the impressive McLaren P1, will get a limited production of just 500 units and even if you’re thinking about ordering one, you should know that its starting price will stand at approximately 1.2 million USD. The P1 will get the same carbon fiber passenger tub used on the MP4-12C, carbon fiber panels, titanium alloy exposed metal and some other tweaks.

The McLaren P1 will weigh around 1,300 kg and it should get the same 3.8 liter engine under its hood which is used on the MP4-12C and 12C Spyder too, but thanks to some tweaks, the unit will produce a total output of approximately 800 HP (596 kW). Rumors are saying that the McLaren P1 will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. Additional details on the British supercar are limited for the moment and will probably be announced during its presentation.
