A unique version of the McLaren P1 with a wild paintjob has been recently spotted and, we have to admit, it’s a truly eye catcher.
Over the last year and a half, since the McLaren P1 has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in its final production form, we have seen the impressive hybrid supercar in several paint finishes but what we consider to be one of the wildest yet belongs to Major League Baseball pitcher C.J. Wilson. The athlete is also a photographer and he is the one behind the images posted below.
As you probably already know by now, the McLaren P1 is the company’s fastest and most powerful product yet. This is also the first hybrid supercar developed by the British based company and it is packing a modified version of the 3.8 liter V8 twin turbo engine, the same one used on the MP4-12C and on the new 650S. The unit is rated at 727 HP and 719 Nm of torque, being backed up by an electric motor providing 176 HP and 260 Nm. The total output produced stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque, which is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.
