The British based automaker McLaren is planning to develop a hotter version of its MP4-12C in order to rival the Ferrari 458 Speciale.
The McLaren MP4-12C is getting ready to receive a hotter version which will become a direct rival to the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The model in question will become quicker than the Italian supercar and it will use an improved version of the current 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which should produce an estimated 650 HP (478 kW). The updated version of the McLaren MP4-12C will also receive some other goodies, which will help it stand out from its regular brothers.
Some of the items which will be found on the model will include the new visual and aerodynamic package for its exterior design, carbon ceramic brakes for the front and the rear and probably a modified suspension system. Some new wheels are also in the books, along with probably some updates made to the cabin. The model in question is said to be based on the facelifted version of the MP4-12C, which will come out over the following months, and it’s said to make its way onto the market by the end of 2014.
