The British based automaker McLaren has recently released a first teaser image with a brand new model, the so-called 650S, which will be officially unveiled in Geneva, during the automotive event.
Our spy photographers have managed to capture the so-called McLaren P13 on camera several times until now, as the model will become the cheapest McLaren supercar ever, but this news doesn’t include the entry-level vehicle, but a new mid-range model, which will slot between the MP4-12C and the P1 hybrid supercar. The brand new McLaren 650S will be making its public debut next month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
We are not sure on what engine the 650S will be using but chances are it will be getting a modified version of the 3.8 liter V8, which is also used on the MP4-12C, on the P1 and on the smaller P13. The unit will probably be more powerful than the one found on the MP4-12C, but not as powerful as the one from the hybrid supercar. Chances are it will be producing approximately 650 HP (478 kW), which would justify the “650S” name. More details on the new McLaren supercar are limited for the moment and will probably be announced in Geneva.
