The Japanese based automaker Nissan has officially introduced the Micra Cup, in Canada, which has become the most affordable race car currently offered in the country.
Nissan’s newest creation is aimed towards the motorsport segment and it has been based on the Nissan Micra. The model in question has been called the most affordable race car in Canada and it is coming with the Nismo tuned suspension system, a 5-point racing harness, approved racing seat, a fire extinguisher, high performance brake pads, a safety cage, a modified exhaust system, a driver protection net and several other tweaks to make it quite appealing into the eyes of its future buyers.
The racer has been also fitted with the front and rear towing hooks, with the Fastwheels rims wrapped in low profile Pirelli high performance tires and more. Power to the racer is being provided by the stock 1.6 liter DOHC four-cylinder unit, with Twin CVTC (continuously variable timing control), dual fuel injection and a 5-speed manual transmission. The unit is producing 109 HP. Prices for the Nissan Micra Cup race car have been set from 19,998 Canadian Dollars, or the equivalent of 17,807 USD, including all goodies with without taxes.
