Lamborghini has recently pulled the wraps off the 2013 Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo, which is part of the company’s customer racing program.
According to the Italian based automaker, the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo has been unveiled last Sunday. The “raging bull” says that the supercar is part of the company’s customer racing program and it’s coming with a new spoiler, with an updated rear diffuser and with redesigned wheel arches.
The carmaker didn’t provide any power or performance details on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo but the model is expected to get the 5.2 liter V10 engine under its hood which should generate a total output of 570 horsepower (425 kW), just like the model it’s replacing.
The Blancpain Super Trofeo is based on the Gallardo LP570-4 Cup cars and it’s part of the 2012 series which is made of six race weekends where 58 drivers compete on various tracks, including the famous Nurburgring in Germany.
