The 2014 Audi RS6 Avant has been officially unveiled and the model is getting ready to hit the company’s dealers next year.
The new generation of the Audi RS6 Avant is coming with a sport front fascia with large air intakes, with a honeycomb mesh grille hosting the “Quattro” badge, with matte aluminum trim, with a tailgate mounted spoiler, a black rear diffuser, a dual exhaust system and with a fresh set of 20-inch alloy wheels. The cabin of the 2014 Audi RS6 Avant is getting leather / Alcantara sport seats, metallic accents, carbon fiber trim, flat bottom steering wheel, MMI nav and infotainment, illuminated sill plates, head-up display, internet connectivity, Bang&Olufsen audio system and more.
Under the hood of the 2014 Audi RS6 Avant we can find the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 560 HP (412 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft). The unit is mated to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission which is sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system, allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) or 280 km/h (174 mph) with the Dynamic Package and 305 km/h (190 mph) with the Dynamic Plus Package. Fuel consumption stands at 9.8L/100km (24 mpg US) thanks to the cylinder-on-demand system and to the start/stop technology. Prices are expected to start at 77,000 GBP.
