The first image with the interior design of the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte has recently hit the web, along with several others which are revealing the Italian flagship with camouflage on its body.
The Italian based automaker Maserati is currently working on the new generation of the Quattroporte and, until now, its design has been hidden from curious eyes but a first image revealing its cabin, dashboard, steering wheel, LCD center display and much more has recently hit the web. Styling of the cabin seems to be inspired from the Kubang SUV concept but until we will get some clearer images we can only speculate.
The new generation of the Maserati Quattroporte, which is expected to hit the market sometimes next year as a 2014 model year, is rumored to get a Ferrari made supercharged V6 engine under its hood, which should produce a total output of 420 horsepower, along with a turbocharged V8, generating 520 horsepower.
As a quick reminder, the fifth generation of the Maserati Quattroporte has been in production ever since 2004 and the model is coming with a choice of three V8 engines, a 4.2 with 400 PS, a 4.7 with 430 PS and another 4.7 with 440 PS, mated to either a six-speed automatic or a six-speed DuoSelect with paddle shifters. The current generation of the Maserati Quattroporte is 5,097 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,438 mm tall, with a curb weight of 1,990 kg (4,387 lb).
