Land Rover has recently introduced the new 2014 Range Rover L long wheelbase, ahead of the model’s public debut which was scheduled for the 2013 Dubai Motor Show, next month.
Land Rover’s newest creation is named the Range Rover L and it’s a long wheelbase version based on the new generation of the model. The 2014 Range Rover L measures 5.2 meters in length, compared to the standard version’s 5-meter and it has 140 mm more legroom in the rear, allowing the seats to recline 8 degrees more, to a total of 17 degrees.
“The first Range Rover long wheelbase in 20 years, this new model will cater for a growing group of consumers looking for the ultimate SUV, and an alternative to the traditional long wheelbase saloon cars in this segment. Clever packaging has increased rear legroom by 140mm for rear seat passengers and boosted recline to 17 degrees with the executive seating package to provide enhanced comfort and space”, as the carmaker is saying in its official press release.
The new Range Rover L will receive a panoramic sunroof and powered side door blinds, amongst others, as standard equipment and the “L” version will become available on the Vogue, the Vogue SE, the Autobiography and the Autobiography Black, while starting from next year, the model will also come as a Hybrid. This version of the Range Rover will offer the highest quality of materials and leathers and it will also come with a set of two 21- and 22-inch alloy wheels, with a high gloss polished finish. The model will be launched over the following months and the first deliveries will begin in March, 2014.
