Toyota has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 4Runner over the weekend, following the teaser images released these past few weeks.
The 2014 Toyota 4Runner has an updated interior cabin, with new trim, new Optitron gauges, a multi-information display, the company’s Entune infotainment, in-glass antenna or a 7-inch display which can be offered as an option. The SR5 and the Limited versions of the new Toyota 4Runner are also coming with the third row of seats and the limited is adding leather trim, 8-way power adjustable seat for the driver and 4-way for the passenger and the one-touch walk-in function which is allowing an easier access to the third row of seats.
The new Toyota 4Runner is coming in three trim levels, the SR5, the Limited and the Trail and its future owners can get the 4.0 liter V6 engine, which is good for 270 BHP (201 kW) and 376 Nm of torque (278 lb-ft), mated to a 5-speed ECT-I automatic transmission which is sending power to either the 4×2 or the 4×4. The estimated EPA stands at 17 / 23 mpg in city / highway for the two-wheel drive and at 17 / 22 mpg in city / highway for the all-wheel drive. The maximum towing capacity stands at 5,000 pounds.
