Automobili Turismo Sport (ATS) has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the street-legal Sport 490 Stradale, which will go on sale soon.
The brand new Sport 490 Stradale, which has been created by Automobili Turismo Sport, or ATS for short, has been based on the Sport 490. Despite its racy looks, the model in question is actually street legal and it has been fitted with a new transmission system, with a reverse gear, with a limited slip differential, with a retuned suspension system, a hand brake, headlights and a more refined interior design, amongst others.
“Obviously this version has been realized with track day use in mind, giving the chance to the owner to drive it directly from the home’s garage to the race circuit. A great opportunity to expand the ATS market also through a less professional driver, but still with the passion for extreme sports cars”, said Gianluca Gregis, the ATS boss.
The ATS Sport 490 Stradale is coming with a 1.4 liter engine under its hood, with a 1,400 cc displacement, which is capable of producing no less than 235 HP (175 kW). The 500 kg weighing vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph). No pricing details have been announced on the impressive ride.
