The 2015 Audi RS3 Sportback has been revealed following a series of spy shots and reports, and the model will begin its deliveries next summer.
Audi’s newest model is a range topping version of the A3, called the RS3, in the Sportback body style. The hot hatch is easily recognizable as it is coming with large air intakes, a Quattro front grille, a new rear bumper, a rear diffuser, a dual exhaust system, 19-inch alloy wheels, aluminum side mirror caps, a reduced ride height and several other tweaks. The vehicle has also received a sport tuned suspension system, high performance brakes and so on.
The cabin of the model has received the Nappa leather sport seats, contrast stitching, flat bottom steering wheel, Aluminum Race or carbon fiber trim, stainless steel pedals and so on. The most important part of the hot hatch is found under its hood, where the 2.5 liter five-cylinder petrol burner is resting. This is producing a total output of 367 HP (270 kW) and 465 Nm (342 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 7-speed S tronic transmission. The Quattro all-wheel drive system is standard. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the Audi RS3 Sportback needs 4.3 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph), but on request, it can be raised to 280 km/h (174 mph).
