The Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight Concept has been officially unveiled ahead of its public debut scheduled for Las Vegas’ Consumer Electronics Show.
The German based automaker Audi is planning to introduce the Sport Quattro Laserlight Concept at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The model in question, which has been pictured below, for the first time, is looking recognizable because it’s basically an updated version of the Sport Quattro Concept, which was officially unveiled during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, back in September. The Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight Concept has received the matrix LED headlights with laser light technology, which have three times the luminosity of LED high-beam lights and will illuminate the road for 500 meters (1,640 feet).
The new Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight Concept is coming as a plug-in hybrid, with a 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo engine under its hood, backed up by an electric motor. The total output produced by this assembly stands at 700 HP (515 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. This is enough to allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and to reach a top speed of 305 km/h (189 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 2.5L / 100km (113 mpg UK / 94.1 mpg US).
