The brand new BMW M235i Track Edition has been officially unveiled by the carmaker and this will be aimed towards the Netherlands.
BMW’s newest creation is based on the impressive M235i as this has been called the Track Edition. The model in question is coming with the M Performance body kit which is adding the new rear diffuser, the revised side skirts or the front splitter. The vehicle has been also fitted with a trunk mounted spoiler, with a black grille, with the 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels or with the stainless steel sports exhaust system.
Changes made to the cabin are limited and they include the Alcantara wrapped sport steering wheel, the Alcantara / carbon fiber handbrake lever, the aluminum pedals and several other tweaks. Power is coming from the 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo engine, rated at 326 HP (240 kW) and 450 Nm (322 kW). The six-cylinder unit is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 4.8 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). Prices for the model will be starting at 83,000 euros and production will be limited to just 12 units.
