The Caterham team has created a new special edition of the Seven, which has been named the Kamui Kobayashi Edition and it will be sold exclusively in Japan.
Caterham really means limited edition when it’s talking about the subject as its newest creation up to date, the Caterham Seven Kamui Kobayashi Edition, will only be produced in just 10 units. The model in question has been designed with the help of Kamui Kobayashi, the Caterham F1 team Japanese driver and it’s coming with a high-gloss black paint, matt black sport stripes, carbon fiber used for the wing protectors in the front and at the rear and some other tweaks.
The Caterham Seven Kamui Kobayashi is also getting 13-inch diamond cut black wheels, a Kamui logo in the headrest, four-point harness, carbon fiber inserts, some green contrast stitching on the sport seat and more. Power to the new limited edition of the Seven is coming from a 1.6 liter Ford Sigma engine, which is producing a total output of 125 HP. This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 196 km/h (122 mph). Prices for the model will start from 6m Yen (43,200 EUR).
