The first details and images with the Euro-spec version of the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray have been recently released by the car manufacturer.
Chevrolet has released the first details and images with the 2015 Corvette Stingray, in its European configuration as America’s iconic model is getting ready to storm the Old Continent. According to the car manufacturer, the vehicle has been priced from 74,500 euros, in Germany, or the equivalent of 92,400 USD, at the current exchange rates. This is significantly more than the model’s cost over-seas, where the coupe starts at 54,995 USD, without the destination charges.
All European models are coming with the standard Z51 performance package which is adding the integral brake, the dry sump oiling system, electronic limited slip differential, specific shocks, springs and stabilizer bars, differential and transmission cooling, larger front and rear wheels, specific performance gear ratio and so on. Power to the model is being provided by the same 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 460 HP (338 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a 7-speed manual transmission allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds and to reach a top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph) in the coupe and 282 km/h (175 mph) in the convertible. The sports car is burning an average of 12L of fuel every 100 km and it is emitting 279 g/km of CO2.
