Meet the first 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS in the U.S. image

The first example of the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS has arrived in the United States and it being highlighted with a few images.

The model in question, in the U.S.-specification, has recently arrived at IMOLA Motorsports, in Plymouth, Minnesota, and it has been captured on camera by Alex Bellus, a professional photographer. The sports car has a gloss white finish covering its body, along with some black accents, five-double spoke wheels finished in silver, yellow brake calipers and a large black rear wing. The cabin has been filled with Alcantara and red accent stitching.

We should also mention the extra cooling elements on the engine lid, the front wings with air ducts, prominent splitter and so on. The latest naturally aspirated performance vehicle coming from Porsche has a starting price of 176,895 USD, while the 911 GT3 is available from 130,400 USD. The vehicle, in the U.S.-spec, is making use of a 4.0 liter flat six-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 500 HP (368 kW) and it has a peak torque of 460 HP (340 lb-ft), exactly the same as in the European version. In this configuration, the sports car needs just 3.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), and it has a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph). The Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. On its local market, this has a starting price of 181,690 euros.
