The Italian design company Icona has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Volcano supercar concept, ahead of its public debut in Shanghai.
After it was teased a couple of times, the Icona Vulcano is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the Italian design firm officially pulling the wraps off its body, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, on the 20th of April. The model will be presented by its designer, Samuel Chauffart, who will have some words to say about how the model came to life.
According to the company, the Icona Vulcano supercar concept has been made in order to showcase Icona’s talents and also to preview new automotive technologies, most of them concerning the V12 powertrain. The Icona Vulcano supercar concept is, of course, powered by a V12 engine, which is rumored to be mated to an electric system. The total output should stay somewhere in excess of 900 HP. Sadly we don’t have any more details on the Icona Vulcano for the moment and these will be released on the 20th of April, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
