The first image with the so-called Jaguar F-Type Sport Brake has recently hit the web and it might offer us a first glimpse into a possible future production version of the sports car.
Jaguar has already announced new versions of the F-Type not too long ago, through the voice of the company’s official Adrian Hallmark, and one of these versions might become the one pictured above, even if the carmaker didn’t announce any official plans of putting the Sport Brake into production. Our opinion is that this is one of the hottest renderings of the year and Jaguar should consider producing it, in a concept form at least, in order to test the market.
If it will indeed get the green light for production, the Jaguar F-Type Sport Brake will most likely get the same trim levels and engines as its drop top brother, meaning that we will see the F-Type V6, the F-Type V6 S and the F-Type V8, with the cheapest one getting a 3.0L engine under its hood, producing 340 HP and 332 lb-ft, the mid-range getting 380 HP out of the same engine and the top of the line generating 495 HP and 460 Nm of torque from a 5.0 liter V8.
