The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently unveiled a new promotional vehicle, in the shape of the Sorento, which has been called the “X-Men”.
Kia as recently teamed up with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment in order to create this one-off version of the Sorento, called the “X-Men”. The model in question has received an updated body which is highly aggressive, with an X-shaped front grille, some blades running around the headlights and side parts of the front bumper and a large X on its side, amongst the several other tweaks.
“The partnership with Fox will see the unveiling of a special X-Men-inspired all-new Kia Sorento one week before the first major tennis championship of 2015 – with Kia’s ‘superhuman’ brand ambassador, tennis star Rafael Nadal, revealing the car”, said the company in its official press release.
The new Kia Sorento X-Men has also received a two-tone paint job along with a set of multi-spoke alloy wheels. More details on it are limited at this time but we do know that the brand new Sorento, in the U.S.-spec, is currently on display in Los Angeles, coming in with its 2.0L GDI 240 HP turbo engine, the 2.4L GDI with 185 HP and the 3.3L V6 with 290 HP, all of them connected to the 6-speed automatic transmission.
