Mercedes-Benz has officially pulled the wraps off the SL63 AMG World Championship 2014 Collector’s Edition, which is celebrating a perfect Formula 1 season.
With one of the longest names on the market, the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG World Championship 2014 Collector’s Edition is one hot ride to own. The sports car in question has been officially unveiled by the German based automaker as this has been designed to celebrate one perfect Formula 1 season, with Lewis Hamilton winning and Nico Rosberg coming in second. The roadster has been developed with the help of both Formula 1 drivers and this has been introduced at the Stars & Cars event, in Stuttgart.
We are not sure if any performance modifications have been made to the ride, but the standard one is taking its power from the 5.5 liter twin turbo M157 V8 engine, which is capable of producing no less than 530 HP (395 kW). This is enough to allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.3 seconds. Fuel consumption stands at 28.5 mpg, average, and the CO2 emissions at 231 g/km. More details on the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG World Championship 2014 Collector’s Edition are limited at this time.
