The future generation of the Volkswagen Golf, the MK7, will be made in a whole new version, as a four-door coupe, which will be named the CC.
With the Passat CC being highly appreciated by Volkswagen’s customers, the German based automaker is planning the same treatment for the Jetta and, why not, for the Golf too, and this latest version is expected to make its way onto the market in 2014. We have the guys at auto-motor-und-sport.de to thank for the images posted below this article and some older news posted by us earlier this year for the info, but the fact that more images have just hit the web, are actually highlighting the fact that VW is close to revealing the Golf CC.
The all-new Volkswagen Golf CC will have a lot of things in common with the Passat CC, except for the front fascia, but the most significant design change will be the lowered roof line and the model will be known as a four-door coupe. The VW Golf CC is expected to get features like internet access, center display, infotainment system, large gauges, climate control and radio, but more details will be announced close to the model’s debut. The future Golf CC will go against the upcoming Mercedes-Benz CLS, the Audi A3 sport sedan and the BMW 1-Series GT.
