Saleen has officially introduced its newest creation, the FourSixteen, during the 2014th edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The vehicle is basically based on the Tesla Model S P85 and it has received an aerodynamic body kit, which is including the V-shaped hood, the different front fascia, the new rear bumper, the carbon fiber diffuser, the different side skirts, the trunk mounted spoiler or the 21-inch forged aluminum wheels, which should help it stand out from a crowd.
The Saleen FourSixteen’s cabin is gaining the perforated leather / Alcantara sport seats, the leather wrapped dashboard with contrast stitching, the tailor made door panels, the carbon fiber trim, new center console and several other tweaks to help it stand out from a crowd. The vehicle has also received stiffer springs, new sway bars, high performance brakes, retuned control system, locking differential and more.
Power is being provided by the induction motor which is producing a total output of 416 HP (310 kW) and it has a peak torque of 600 Nm (443 lb-ft). Prices for the Saleen FourSixteen start at 152,000 USD, including the cost of the base care. The company is currently accepting orders but deliveries should take somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks.
