The British based automaker Vauxhall has recently pulled the wraps off the new VXR8 GTS, a super sedan which can compete with models like the BMW M5.
The newest creation signed by Vauxhall is named the VXR8 GTS and it has been designed as a direct competitor for vehicles like the BMW M5, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, the Audi RS6 or the Jaguar XFR-S. The Vauxhall VXR8 GTS is probably one of the most interesting models ever developed by the carmaker and it’s also one of the most expensive, coming in at 54,999 GBP, but it still manages to undercut its rivals.
The Vauxhall VXR8 GTS has four settings, the Touring, the Sport, the Performance and the Track, and these can be controlled by the driver, who can also “play” with the ESC, launch control, torque vectoring, electric power steering or exhaust sound. The model is powered by a 6.2L V8 engine LSA engine signed by GM and used on the Camaro ZL1, producing 24 BHP more than the M5, 27 BHP more than the E63 AMG and 34 BHP more than the XFR-S. Peak torque stands at 545 lb-ft. The 0 to 60 mph sprint takes 4.9 seconds and top speed stands at 155 mph.
