The German automaker Mercedes Benz announced the starting price for the ML350 model in the US market. The next SUV generation ML will arrive in dealerships overseas next month, at a starting price of 49.865 US dollars.
The 2012 Mercedes Benz ML350 is powered by a 3.5 litre V6 engine, which produces 302 HP and a torque of 273 lb-ft. The US auto market will also get the diesel version ML350 BlueTec 4Matic, which is powered by a 3.0 litre V6 engine, producing 240 HP and a maximum torque of 455 lb-ft.
Prices for the diesel version of the 2012 ML350 start at 51.365 US dollars, which include a destination charge of 875 dollars.
The new style of the M-Class 2012 sits about 3/4 inches lower than the previous model and it is also half an inch wider and an inch longer. All variants of the 2012 M-Class will come with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic transmission 7G Tronic Plus, and can be ordered with Active Curve System, Attention Assist drowsiness detection, Night View Assist and automatic person recognition, Speed Limit Assist, Intelligent Light System, Blind Spot Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Park Assist, reverse camera, autonomous braking and a Harman KArdon Logic 7 audio system.
A more powerful version of the 2012 ML, powered by a V8, will be launched next year in the overseas auto
market, with prices which will be announced close to its debut.
