And, since the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show is still around the corner, “bring it on!” is all we can say.
The upcoming Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe has been teased a lot of times over these past few months and it has been caught on camera too, by spy photographers on the Old Continent, numerous times. The model in question is now being placed into the spotlights once again with the help of new teaser images which are showing it on the track, in action, with a lot of camouflage covering its body. The main difference between these and the regular spy shots is that you will not see a huge watermark on them, but also they aren’t revealing anything interesting on the vehicle.
The brand new Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe will be following the same footsteps as its four-door brother, getting the aggressive front fascia, the modified rear end, the updated exterior design, the four-tailpipe exhaust system, the lightweight alloy wheels, high-performance braking system and several other goodies. The most important part of the car will be found under its hood where the same 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine will be added. This will be capable of putting down a total of 469 HP (349 kW) and 648 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), this will need just a little over 4 seconds and top speed will be electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). A hotter S variant is expected to be added to the range.
