The brand new Mercedes-Benz GLC has been caught on camera once again, while it was being tested out, in its new range-topping version, the GLC63 AMG.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is currently working on some new generations of its current models and while most of them will still be offered under the same monikers, the GLK will become the GLC. This has been officially disclosed just a few weeks back, but really all the carmaker was doing was to confirm almost all the reports leading in this direction.
The vehicle pictured below is a test mule of the new Mercedes-AMG GLC63 (old GLK) which his wearing some body camouflage but it is still easily recognizable considering the fact that it will be adopting a slightly evolutionary design. This will be growing in size and it should become more desirable to young clientele. Its cabin will be getting a lot of bits and pieces from the new C-Class.
As far as the engine goes, the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 AMG, which will also be the range topping version, is believed to pack the same new 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine used on the AMG GT and also on the C63 AMG. The model is believed to be introduced sometimes next year. More details on it are limited at this time.
