Mercedes-AMG GT gets priced in Germany image

The Mercedes-AMG GT has been recently priced on its local home market, where the cheapest version starts from 115,430 euros.

If you have your eyes on Mercedes’ newest sports car, the AMG GT, you should know that this will not be as cheap as you probably thought, considering the fact that the model has been priced from 115,430 euros in Germany. This actually means that the vehicle is 3,000 euros more expensive than the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. The brand new AMG GT S Edition 1 is even pricier, coming in at 134,351 euros.

As you probably already know by now, the Mercedes-AMG GT is the company’s second sports car produced by AMG, after the SLS. This is also the official replacement of the SLS, despite being smaller, less powerful and cheaper, and it has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, just a few days ago, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The sports car has a brand new 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine under its hood, which is rated at 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque in the standard form and at 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque in the AMG GT-S.
