The Mercedes-AMG GT has been almost sold out across the globe for the 2015 and 2016 model years.

Even if it has been introduced just a couple of months ago, the impressive Mercedes-AMG GT has been almost sold out across the globe for the 2015 and 2016 model years, meaning that this year and the next one, getting your hands on a brand new one will be almost impossible, unless some of them end up on the second-hand market for a bigger price tag.

The Mercedes-AMG GT is the second sports car developed by the company, after the SLS AMG, and it has a front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, being offered in two specifications, the GT and the GT S. Power is being provided in both cases by the same 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine, a newly developed unit, which is rated at 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, in the first one, while in the latter, the unit is producing 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Prices for the AMG GT start from 115,430 euros in Germany.
