Mercedes has officially announced the starting price of the AMG GT across the United States, where the sports car costs 129, 900 USD, without the 925 USD destination charge.
After its pricing has leaked just a few days ago, the Mercedes AMG GT is being placed into the spotlights once again, in the United States, where its official starting price has now been officially announced. According to the car manufacturer, once the model will be arriving in showrooms this April, the AMG GT S will become available for order from 129,900 USD, without the 925 USD destination charge. This will basically be the range topping version of the model and it will be getting the COMAND infotainment system, the Burmester audio system, the Nappa leather upholstery, Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Parktronic and Keyless-Go, amongst others.
Under its hood, you will find the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 503 HP (375 kW) and a peak torque of 650 Nm (479 lb-ft), connected to the 7-speed dual clutch transmission. From 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h), the model needs just 3.7 seconds. Keep in mind that this is the top of the line version and in the entry-level one, the AMG GT is packing the same 4.0L unit, which is producing 456 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint made in 3.9 seconds. No pricing details on this have been announced yet.
