Prior Design has released the first details and images with its updated Mercedes-AMG GT S.

According to the tuning company, the widebody kit has been called the PD800GT and it is aimed towards the Mercedes-AMG GT S, so if you happen to be an owner of the flagship sports car made by the 3-pointed star looking to upgrade your ride, than this might be just what the doctor has ordered.

The updated body kit is giving the sports car a more aggressive appearance and it has added the front lip spoiler, the air intake surrounds and canards. The model in question is also bringing the extended fenders, the ventilated hood, the sport rear diffuser, the aerodynamic side skirts and also a massive spoiler at the rear, contributing to its unique looks and improving its handling.

Unfortunately we have no clue at this point on how much this upgrade package put together by Prior Design for the Mercedes-AMG GT S costs but with the 2015th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show coming in pretty fast, chances are we will hear more about it during the German automotive event. Meanwhile, we will remind you the fact that the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine has been carried over under its hood and this is still rated at 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, allowing the model to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph).
