The price start of the Mercedes AMG GT S has recently leaked out over the web, in the United States, where the model will become available for order next April.
Despite being officially unveiled back in autumn 2014, the Mercedes AMG GT is still not seen in the company’s dealerships across the Ocean, but this will be happening this April, as the carmaker has recently announced. According to some documents obtained by the guys from Jalopnik, the Mercedes AMG GT S will be starting from 129,900 USD, once it will become available for order. The sports car will be receiving the Burmester audio system, the COMAND infotainment system, Nappa leather upholstery, Parktronic, keyless go and several other goodies.
The Mercedes AMG GT is currently being offered in two versions, on the Old Continent at least. Both of them are being powered by the same 4.0 liter biturbo V8 engine, which is found under their hoods. The regular model, called the AMG GT, has 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, while the range topping AMG GT S is packing 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, from the same unit. In Europe, prices for the regular AMG GT start from 115,430 euros while the AMG GT S can be yours from 134,351 euros. More details on the newest sports car made by Mercedes and aimed towards the United States will be announced most likely in April.
