A few images depicting a new body style of the Mercedes-AMG GT, the Shooting Brake, have ended up on the web and we must admit that this looks quite hot.
Mercedes-Benz has officially presented the brand new AMG GT a couple of months ago and if you were hoping for a new body style, which isn’t necessarily a Roadster, keep on dreaming, because chances are the company will never introduce that. The three images posted below are showing how the AMG GT may look like in a Shooting Brake version, but these are just renderings, signed by Theophilus Chin.
The Mercedes-AMG GT starts from 115,430 euros on its home market, Germany, which makes it 3,000 euros more expensive than the Porsche 911 Carrera S. The model in question is taking its power from a newly developed 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is rated at 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque in base version and 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) in the AMG GT-S. The sports car is the replacement for the SLS AMG, despite being smaller, lighter, less powerful and cheaper. It has been shown to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
