Another example of the Mercedes-AMG GT has been caught wearing some aftermarket wheels.
This particular example has a silver finish on its body and it has received a fresh set of wheels which have been signed by Lorinser. The tuning company is often offering upgrade packages which are subtle for various models but in this case the only thing added was this fresh set of rims. These are getting a 7-spoke design and have been finished in an appealing golden shade, covering the red brake calipers so if you want to add them to your ride, make sure you do, because they will completely change the way it looks.
We’re not sure at this point how much the wheels cost because Lorinser hasn’t announced these details but we can remind you that the AMG GT is the successor of the SLS AMG, despite being smaller, cheaper and less powerful. The sports car is making use of a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is also used on other vehicles in the company’s lineup, like the C63 AMG, which is offered in two output levels. On the AMG GT, this is rated at 460 HP (340 kW) and 600 Nm (440 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration made in 4.0 seconds, while in the AMG GT S, this is producing 503 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque, allowing it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h (190 mph).
