Mercedes-AMG GT3 looks good in new rendering image

The upcoming Mercedes-AMG GT3 has been rendered once more and we have to admit that this is one impressive looking racer.

The most extreme vehicle to currently come out with the 3-pointed star badges on its body is called the AMG GT and this is the successor of the SLS, despite being smaller, lighter, cheaper and less powerful but the model is close to giving birth to a track only version, which is called the AMG GT3. The racing car pictured above is nothing more than a simple rendering but since the carmaker is currently keeping it into the shadows for the moment, this is a good way of trying to figure it out how this will look like, once it will be ready.

The brand new Mercedes-AMG GT3 has a completely redesigned rear bumper, with a massive diffuser, with a dual exhaust setup and also with a large rear wing. The model has also received the widened fenders, the new side sills, the different front bumper with the apron, the modified hood with the air intakes and several other tweaks to help it stand out. The exterior looks are being finished by the racing wheels wrapped in slick tires. In the cabin we can notice the roll cage. Under its hood, the same 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine might be powering it, but we are not sure if this will produce the same amount of power as the one under the hood of the regular sports car. More details on it are limited at this time.
