Mercedes-AMG’s “something fast” teased once more image

Several images with “something fast” have been released by Mercedes-AMG as the company is continuing the teasing game.

Originally teased just a week ago, the “something fast” from Mercedes-AMG is being placed into the spotlights once again as the carmaker has released more images with it. The photos are showing a camouflaged vehicle which appears to be yet another version of the AMG GT, the company’s newest and fastest sports car. Rumor has it that the model in question will be the production version of the AMG GT3 which has a pretty big chance of being transformed into the long awaited AMG GT Black Series.

No matter what this will be, rumor has it that it will come with bigger brakes than the regular AMG GT, along with an upgraded suspension system and a more aggressive body kit which, besides giving it a new look, it will also improve its aerodynamics. The current sports car is making use of a 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo engine, available in two outputs, on the AMG GT and on the AMG GT3. This is capable of putting down a total of 460 HP (340 kW) and 600 Nm (440 lb-ft) of torque and 503 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque, respectively. The unit will be upgraded too and it will become more powerful. The new model will be officially unveiled over the next few weeks and it is believed to make its public debut this September, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
