The brand new Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG, along with the impressive SLS AMG Black Series, have been recently introduced during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of speed.
The German based automaker’s lineup for the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which was held over the past weekend, included the A45 AMG hot hatch and the SLS AMG Black Series front mid-engined supercar. These two vehicles were joined by the new generation of the S-Class, along with the entire AMG lineup, and a handful of historic vehicles like the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe or the 1910 Benz 21/80 Prinz Heinrich.
As a quick reminder, the new Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 360 HP (265 kW) and 450 Nm of torque (332 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.6 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The SLS AMG Black Series is getting a 6.2 liter V8 engine under its hood, which is generating 622 HP (464 kW) and 634 Nm of torque (468 lb-ft). The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration is done in 3.5 seconds and top speed stands at 196 mph (315 km/h).
