Mercedes-Benz has introduced its ultimate hot hatch, the A45 AMG, to Malaysia, where the price of the model will set you back for RM338,888.
Malaysians now have a new option when it comes to premium hot hatches as the impressive Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG has been recently introduced to the Asian country. The model in question has been fitted with a stiffer suspension system, with ESP Curve Dynamic Assist, an AMG high performance braking system with ventilated and perforated disc brakes, an AMG Performance exhaust system as standard, Artico finished sports seats, carbon fiber look and some other tweaks, which are contributing to that impressive look.
The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG has been officially unveiled during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The hot hatch is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is developing a total output of 360 HP (256 kW), at 6,000 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 450 Nm (332 lb-ft), available between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm. The unit is sending power to the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system through an AMG Speed Shift DCT seven-speed sports transmission, which is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and to reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
