Mercedes-Benz has recently introduced the A45 AMG Edition 1 to Malaysia, where the premium hot hatch can be ordered from RM348,888.
The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Edition 1 is now available for order in Malaysia too, where its future customers will have to pay at least RM348,888, before getting their hands on this premium hot hatch. The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Edition 1 has become the cheapest AMG model available for order in Malaysia, as this is being followed by the C63 AMG, which costs almost twice as much, at RM782,000, so owning an AMG in the Asian country is now easier than ever.
Power to the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Edition 1 is being provided by a 2.0 liter twin-scroll turbo engine, which is producing a total output of 360 HP, at 6,000 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 450 Nm, available between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm. The unit is mated to an AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which is sending power to the AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, as standard. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in the hot hatch takes just 4.6 seconds and the limited electronic top speed stands at 250 km/h (155 mph).
