Mercedes-Benz has created a new special edition of the popular A45 AMG premium hot hatch, which has been named the Petronas Green Edition, aimed towards the Japanese auto market.
For those of you not into motorsport, Petronas is the title sponsor for the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team and so, what better name to give a special edition of the A45 AMG then the Petronas Green Edition. The model in question has received the unique sports wheels, the carbon fiber front splitter, the side skirts, carbon fiber canards, aggressive roof spoiler, carbon fiber mirror caps, a unique green design and others.
The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition is getting the same green theme into the cabin too, where you can see it on the air vents, paddle shifters, steering wheel, gear selector and many more places. As far as the engine goes, the special edition of the premium hot hatch is taking its power from the same 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, which is good for 360 HP and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed DCT transmission. Only 30 units of the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition will become available for the Japanese auto market.
