A new rendering with the upcoming Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, which has been based on the original teaser image, has recently hit the web.
Just a few days after the German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has released the first official teaser of the AMG GT, the model is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a rendering, which has been based on the original image. The model in question is lacking the gullwing doors found on the SLS but the profile is showing an attractive design, with a sleek sloping roofline and an extremely long hood.
The cabin of the model will be premium as the vehicle will have to compete against the Porsche 911, amongst others. Power is believed to come from a 4.0 liter V8 engine which will produce 480 HP (358 kW) in the entry-level version, while in the mid-range variant this will be good for 520 HP (387 kW). In the Black Series, chances are that the unit will come with up to 580 HP. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will is replacing the SLS but this will be smaller, lighter, less powerful and cheaper than the current supercar.
