The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has released new teaser images with the upcoming AMG GT, the official replacement of the SLS AMG.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is just a few months from being officially unveiled but the company is still releasing teaser images with it which are showing the supercar with the same green camouflage added to its body. The newest images with the model in question have just been released by the carmaker and they should be enough to “keep you warm” until the vehicle will be officially unveiled, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October.
The AMG GT will replace the SLS AMG and it will be smaller, lighter, less powerful and less expensive, coming in with regular doors. The model will be rivaling models such as the Ferrari 458 Italia, the Lamborghini Huracan and the McLaren 650S. In its base version it will be offered with a 4.0 liter V8 engine, rated at 455 HP, while the mid-range AMG GT-S will come in with 503 HP. The top of the line Black Series model will be introduced later on. More details on the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will probably be announced once it will be officially unveiled.
